I am Natalee Segal of Ballecer and Segal. I am excited to share our law firm’s vision with you as we update our social media and begin the “second act” of our legal practice.

What is Ballecer and Segal’s second act?

We envision Ballecer and Segal as a full-service criminal, immigration, and consulting firm and a trustworthy resource for the legal community.

You might say, so what? Isn’t that what all law firms do?

We would like to think that we bring a unique perspective and determination to the table —but instead of telling you, we would like to show you.

It is our hope that our new blog will educate the public in areas of criminal justice and immigration and be used not only as a resource but also for reform in both areas.

How we arrived at this place in time…

Dan and I have been practicing law together for 25 years.  We are one of the unique criminal defense partnerships to last for over 20 years. We both enjoy and are passionate about consulting with lawyers and brainstorming to obtain maximum results for our collective clients. 

Our hard work over the years has earned both of us great reputations in the criminal defense community as people who can be relied on for questions and consultations from other lawyers about our distinct niches in criminal practice.  

Criminal defense lawyers whose clients have immigration concerns know to call Dan to make sure they don’t run afoul of collateral consequences in resolving cases. 

Other lawyers who need creative consulting on complicated cases or help with post-conviction and appellate issues call me.  

While our individual practices have evolved over the years since we started, at our quarter-century mark, we are even more united in this new phase of our law firm.

Plus one: Nicholas Bustamante

Dan and I found the perfect associate to help us bring our vision of a full-service criminal defense, immigration, and legal consulting firm to fruition in Nicholas Bustamante. We are thrilled to have him as a part of our team. 

Nicholas is versed in both areas of law and a true thought leader in areas of criminal justice and immigration litigation.

Like us, Nicholas is a native Arizonan—unlike us, Nicholas speaks fluent Spanish.
